About us

Welcome to Nordiqpost — your window into life across the Nordic region, with a special love for Norway.

Who We Are

Nordiqpost is an independent online magazine dedicated to telling the stories of the North. From the fjords of Western Norway to the design studios of Copenhagen, the forests of Sweden, the saunas of Finland, and the volcanic landscapes of Iceland, we cover what makes Nordic life unique, modern, and worth reading about.

We started Nordiqpost because we believe the Nordic countries — and Norway in particular — deserve more thoughtful, accessible coverage in English. The region is more than a list of “happiest country” rankings. It is a living culture of craftsmanship, design, sustainability, slow travel, food, music, literature, business, and a uniquely Nordic relationship with nature.

What We Cover

Our editorial focus spans the topics that shape life in the North:

Travel & places — destination guides, hidden gems, road trips, hiking routes, and slow travel across Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, and Iceland.

Food & drink — Nordic cuisine, new Nordic restaurants, home cooking, coffee culture, and seasonal eating.

Culture & lifestyle — design, architecture, fashion, music, books, film, and the quiet philosophies (friluftsliv, hygge, lagom, sisu) that shape daily life.

Sustainability & nature — environmental innovation, outdoor living, and the Nordic approach to balance with the natural world.

Society & business — the people, brands, and ideas coming out of the region.

Norway sits at the heart of our coverage. We follow the country closely — its regions, its language, its food, its outdoors, and the way Norwegians live — while keeping a panoramic view across our Nordic neighbors.

Our Approach

We write with care. Every article on Nordiqpost is researched, edited, and crafted to be useful — whether you’re planning your first trip to Bergen, decorating your home with Scandinavian style, exploring Nordic literature, or simply curious about life above the Arctic Circle.

We are independent. We are not affiliated with any tourism board, government agency, or commercial partner that influences our editorial decisions.

Who Reads Nordiqpost

Our readers include travelers planning a trip to the North, expats living in the Nordic countries, design and lifestyle enthusiasts, students of Nordic culture, and anyone curious about how the region thinks, eats, builds, and lives.
